If you're anything like me, there's probably someone in your family who is always taking photos.

For me, that person has always been me!

I'm the one pulling out my camera at birthdays, holidays, weddings and random weekends with friends. Everyone might roll their eyes at the time, but those photos usually become the ones we’re really glad we have later.

And honestly, that's why I love photography.

It's not about getting everyone to stand perfectly and smile at the camera. It's the laughing, the big hugs, the chaos, the little looks and all the in-between stuff that you'll want to remember.

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me with my husband, running, mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding or catching up with friends over a few wines. Basically, I'm happiest when I'm outside, doing something or surrounded by good people.

I'm all about keeping things relaxed, fun and genuinely you. Whether you're getting married or getting the whole family together for photos, I want you to actually enjoy the experience, not spend the whole time wondering what to do with your hands.

So forget the pressure to look perfect. Show up as you are. I'll take care of the rest.
